Brad Glasson is the owner of Think Motorsport and Director at Think Fire. Brad has been involved in motorsport for over 40 years, starting karting at just 7 years old before moving into car racing at 16.
His racing experience covers karting, endurance racing in both karts and cars, rallying, khanacross, motorkhana, rally sprints, regularity events, the Toyota 86 Series and other car categories. Brad now focuses on developing drivers, building the Think Motorsport team, and launching the new Think Kart endurance kart brand.
Brad’s Role at Think Motorsport
As Team Owner of Think Motorsport, Brad focuses on building a professional team environment, developing young drivers, improving racecraft, and helping drivers understand both the driving and mechanical side of motorsport.
Think Motorsport is about giving drivers a strong team environment where they can learn, compete, improve and enjoy racing. The goal is to build confidence, racecraft and a professional attitude both on and off the track.
Driver Development
Brad is focused on helping drivers improve their racecraft, confidence and understanding of motorsport. His goal is to create a team environment where young drivers can learn, compete, develop good habits and progress through the sport.
Brad also wants to help junior drivers move from karting into cars, while continuing to build Think Motorsport into a competitive and professional team.
Coaching Style
Brad’s coaching style is direct, practical and focused on building better habits. He works with drivers on racecraft, consistency, decision-making, setup feedback and understanding what the kart or car is doing.
Drawing on decades of racing experience, Brad can often read what a driver is thinking on track and help them make better decisions under pressure.
Racing Background
Brad started karting in Rookies, then moved through Junior J Light and Heavy, Junior Clubman, Junior International and Junior CIK, racing across multiple classes at state and national-level events, often running all four classes on the same weekend.
He has raced on and off for 42 years across karts and cars, including endurance karting, rallying, motorkhana, khanacross, rally sprints and regularity events.
Biggest Achievements
Brad’s achievements include numerous karting titles in Australia and overseas, two club championships with CACA, winning the HQ Holden Series club championship, and racing in the Toyota 86 Series.
Team Values
Think Motorsport is built around respect, effort, learning, teamwork and enjoying the sport while always trying to improve.
Setup and Development
Brad has a strong understanding of kart setup, race preparation and driver feedback, helping drivers learn how setup changes affect performance on track.
What Drivers Can Expect at Think Motorsport
Drivers can expect a supportive team environment, honest feedback, help with race preparation, and guidance both on and off the track.
Think Motorsport is focused on helping drivers improve, understand their racing, and enjoy being part of a professional team.
Family and Team Relationships
Think Motorsport is built around strong relationships between drivers, parents and the team. Brad believes young drivers develop best when families are involved, supported and working together with the same goals.
The aim is to create an environment where kids can learn, grow, build confidence and enjoy racing, while parents feel included and part of the journey.

Advice for Young Drivers
Listen, learn, stay calm under pressure, and always work on being smoother and smarter on track. Speed comes from good habits, not just bravery.
“Motorsport has given me a lot over the years. Now I want to help the next generation of drivers learn properly, race hard and enjoy the sport.”
